Excellence in Education
Dr. Albert Dabbah’s passion for surgery started at a young age. At age 9, he had the opportunity to observe open-heart surgery, which sparked his fascination for the intricacies of the human body and how it functions. He received his bachelor’s degree in biological science and a master’s degree in anatomy from the University of Maryland. Dr. Dabbah then completed his medical training in three years at the University of Maryland.

Upon graduation from medical school in 1987, Dr. Dabbah completed a five-year general surgery residency at Sinai Hospital, which included rotations at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was honored to be named Chief Resident in his final year.
Following his chief residency, Dr. Dabbah began his plastic surgery residency at SUMMA Akron City Hospital in Ohio, where he performed all aspects of reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. Following his two-year plastic surgery residency, Dr. Dabbah continued to gain expertise in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery by completing an additional fellowship in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery with Dr. Lawrence Robbins at Miami Heart Institute in Miami Beach.
To add to his accomplishments, Dr. Dabbah is a certified wound specialist and a member of the American Academy of Wound Management. In 1995, Dr. Dabbah started his private practice in Boca Raton. At that time, he started the wound treatment center at Delray Medical Center. In addition, he was part of the trauma team at Delray Medical Center.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dabbah has served on various hospital committees, including surgical management teams. He was Chief of Staff of West Boca Medical Center. He continues to have privileges at Boca Regional Hospital, West Boca Medical Center, Park Creek Surgery Center, and the plastic surgery team at Lynn Cancer Institute of Advanced Cutaneous Malignancies Multimodality Clinic.
